FAQs

Do you offer seasonal mini sessions?

Yes! I have four dates scheduled for Fall 2025. If you go here you can find the day, time and location that works best for you.

What’s the difference between a full session and a mini session?

Mini sessions are always very popular in the fall as people are getting ready for the holiday season. They need a photo for their holiday card, and to send updated photos to the grandparents. Minis are scheduled on specific dates and times only, and last about 15 minutes. A full session is tailored to the client. We will have a consultation and discuss style, location, and what you would product and photos you would like to hang on your walls. The photo session itself lasts closer to one hour. Senior portraits, newborn sessions and extended family sessions fall into this category because it is difficult to accommodate these types of sessions within a 15 minute period.

What should I wear for my session?

What’s most important is to be comfortable! It’s also great to show your personality in your wardrobe choice. For families, I always recommend picking 3 or 4 colors and mixing and matching outfits among those colors. Earthy tones photograph better than neon colors. Wild and crazy patterns tend to be distracting. This is such a common question that I wrote a blog post on it which you can read here.

Do you shoot in all weather conditions?

I shoot outdoors in most weather conditions. A dreary nonstop downpour is a no go for me. It’s not good for my camera equipment and certainly not good for my clients. If that is the case on your photo day, we can either reschedule if you are set on outdoor photos, or I can bring my studio to you and do a photo session in the comfort of your own home.
